At SignalX Cloud Communications LTD, we are committed to providing clear and transparent services. The following Terms and Conditions are designed to protect both your rights and ours in an easily understandable manner.

General Rules for All Services

1. Notification of Changes
Should there be any changes in pricing or services, we will notify you via email to the address we have on file at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

2. Abuse Policy
We do not tolerate any form of abuse on our network. This includes using our services for spam or any illegal activities. We reserve the right to terminate accounts immediately if abuse is detected. We actively collaborate with anti-spam agencies and law enforcement regarding illegal activities.

3. Contract Terms
Contract terms vary depending on your chosen payment option: monthly or annually. If you opt for monthly payments, your contract is on a rolling 30-day basis unless otherwise stated. For annual payments (with a discount), your contract is on a rolling one-year basis and will be automatically renewed, invoiced, and charged as applicable unless cancelled. You will always receive renewal invoices at least 7 days prior to the renewal date and payment.

4. Cancellation Policy
We require a minimum of 30 days’ notice for the termination of services. If notice is given with less than 30 days before the end of the current billing period, cancellation will take effect after the next full billing period. For annual contracts, notice must be given at least 30 days before the start of the new billing period. We strive to ensure fair treatment and avoid undue charges within these guidelines.

5. Credit Card Authorization
By adding a credit card to your account, you authorise us to charge this card for outstanding invoices when they become due. If you prefer not to use automatic payment, you can remove the card or contact us to disable this feature. Any erroneous automatic payments will be reversed within 24 hours.

6. Email and Content Monitoring
We do not monitor individual emails or content and respect your right to internet freedom. However, we comply with legal requirements to provide information to authorities only when legally obligated or under a court order.

7. Security of Personal Information
We do not have access to your passwords or payment details, as these are encrypted. We may require identity verification through security questions for sensitive matters such as billing or password changes.

8. Data Protection and Privacy
We do not share your personal information, including email addresses, with third parties except for trusted companies acting on our behalf (e.g., for monitoring or feedback). All data is stored in compliance with the UK Data Protection Act and the EU GDPR and is securely encrypted.

9. Service Termination for Unpaid Invoices
We reserve the right to terminate services if invoices are not settled by the renewal date. Typically, we provide at least 14 days’ grace before deleting any data (e.g., websites or backups).

10. Service Transfer Fees
We do not charge fees for transferring services, such as domains or SSL certificates, away from us. Transfers are processed free of charge.

Broadband-Specific Terms

1. Minimum Contract Duration
The minimum contract for all broadband connections is 30 days unless otherwise stated.

2. Price Adjustments
We will not increase your line rental price unless the wholesale cost from Openreach or other telcos rises beyond our control, usually each April and often aligned with inflation. We will provide 30 days’ notice of any price changes and will reduce your costs if wholesale prices decrease.

3. Cease Fee
If you terminate your line, a £36 plus VAT cease fee will apply, as this is a charge passed on from Openreach. To avoid this, ensure your broadband connection is migrated rather than ceased, if possible.

4. Customer Support
For any queries or issues, please contact us. As a member of ISPA (Internet Service Providers Association), we offer third-party arbitration services and adhere to their complaints procedure.

Money-Back Guarantee and Refunds

1. 14-Day Free Trial
You can enjoy a 14-day free trial period from the signup date. An invoice will be generated immediately, but you will not be charged until the 14th day. You may cancel at any time within this period for a full refund (excluding domains or SSLs purchased).

2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not completely satisfied with our service, you can request a full refund within 30 days. Exclusions apply to pre-paid services like SSLs and domain names, as well as fixed-term services such as telephone line rental and broadband. Refunds will not be pro-rated for cancellations before the end of the contracted period, unless agreed in advance.

3. Service Transfers
There are no fees for transferring services away from us. Domain names and SSL certificates can generally be transferred at no charge.

4. Statutory Rights
Our trial periods and refund policies do not affect your statutory rights.

Domain Registration and Conditions

1. Payment and Renewal
Domain registration and renewal payments are annual (or longer if selected) and must be made in advance. The default setting for domain auto-renewal is enabled, but this can be changed for each domain.

2. Renewal Reminders
You will receive renewal reminders 30 days and 14 days before your domain is due to expire. If auto-renewal is turned off and a valid payment method is not set up, your domain may expire and be registered by another party.

3. Domain Ownership and Transfers
Once registered, the domain is yours. You can transfer it anywhere you wish, and we will not charge for this. Domains cannot be changed or refunded once registered, even for typos.

4. Nominet-Specific Terms
For .uk domains, you must agree to Nominet’s terms and conditions. We adhere to their codes of practice.

5. International Domains
Registration of international domains is subject to the relevant terms and conditions of the respective countries or registrars.

Email Terms and Conditions

1. Payment Terms
Payment for email services is usually required in advance, at least 7 days before the renewal date.

2. Contract Terms
Email service contracts are on a rolling 30-day basis for monthly payments, or one year for annual payments. Termination requires 14 days’ notice before the next billing period.

3. Spamming Policy
Spamming is strictly prohibited. Bulk emails must comply with UK law. We monitor email usage and may suspend accounts for spam-like activity.

4. Email Backup
We do not keep archived backups of your email account. Once deleted, emails cannot be recovered. We advise on backup strategies to prevent data loss.

5. Account Suspension
We reserve the right to ask you to move your email to another provider with 30 days’ notice in extreme cases. Accounts may be terminated without notice for spam or illegal activity.

Mobile and Mobile Data Terms and Conditions

1. Payment Terms
Payment for mobile services is in advance, at least 7 days before the renewal date.

2. Contract Terms
Mobile contracts are on a rolling 30-day basis. Termination requires 14 days’ notice before the next billing period. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in billing for the next full month.

3. Usage Policy
Use of mobile data services must comply with UK law and regulations. Excessive data usage beyond fair use limits may incur additional charges or result in throttling.

4. Coverage and Service
Coverage and network quality are dependent on the mobile network provider. We cannot guarantee service quality and recommend checking coverage in your area before purchase.

5. Early Termination
Termination of mobile contracts before the end of the billing cycle may result in a termination fee, depending on the remaining contract term.
